Urgent Virtual Care

Urgent virtual care is designed to treat common, non-emergency health concerns quickly and conveniently from home.

Virtual Care May Be a Good Fit If:

• You are 18–64 years old

• You are experiencing a commonly treated health issue

Important Treatment Exclusions:

• You have acute or emergency symptoms, such as:

• Severe abdominal pain

• Trouble breathing

• You need lab tests or imaging studies (e.g., X-rays)

• You need a referral to a specialist (e.g., gastroenterologist or dermatologist)

• You are experiencing ear pain or a possible ear infection

• You have uncontrolled mental health symptoms

• You are male and experiencing urinary symptoms

• You’ve had diarrhea for longer than 7 days

• You are pregnant

Medications Providers Will Not Prescribe:

• Controlled substances (e.g., Ambien)

• Benzodiazepines (e.g., Xanax)

• Weight loss medications (e.g., Zepbound, Wegovy, phentermine)

• Antipsychotics (e.g., Seroquel, Abilify)

• New mental health medications or renewals beyond anxiety or depression

• ADHD medications (e.g., Adderall)

• Nerve pain medications (e.g., gabapentin)

• Ivermectin when not medically indicated

• Oral steroids (e.g., prednisone)

• Alcohol use disorder medications (e.g., Antabuse, naltrexone)
